Gay couple on TV ... a few questions?

Two men drink coffee for breakfast, just enjoy the music, as I speak, the idea of homosexual couples in TV commercials, but nothing sexual going on. No feely sensitive. No suggestions. Nothing even gay-oriented. Only same-sex couples appear together to live and have comfortable relationships that promote a product, such as heterosexual couples have been on television for about 60 years. Your opinion? Approve or reject? They protest? Boycott the products? Supportive? be indifferent?
I think it would be a good idea. I think many people are afraid of gay Couples as they do not know or understand that they are normal people. I was in New York in the year when a Gay / Lesbian Pride Parade had cause. Many (most) people were such as Halloween or a freak show (sorry) and took everything I could think was that I have a gay friends who are perfectly normal people. If this show could only see a Kind of life will be coming out of the way people are not likely to support it or remain neutral on them. My son was 11 years old at the time, he had too much to look afraid, you stared at the floor. We have not done it on purpose, they went from lunch to the theater, if I had no idea what happens there, we walked a other way.
